Do you believe miracles are a daily occurrence? I believe life would be much harder day by day if I didn’t know miracles are real and occur very frequently.

A little over 20 years ago I was miserable because of my own skin. I had unnatural skin sensitivity to the point that more than 15 min. in the sun would produce big blisters that were super painful and debilitating. I have always been white skinned, but something was different and intolerable. I started asking questions about what could be the reason for the change to instant burning. As luck would have it, I asked a natural healer friend of mine who did dark field microscopy, sold vitamins and did reflexology in his spare time as a farmer. Gotta love the Midwest work ethics!

The first question he asked me was “What brand of soap are you using?” I answered, “Dove.” He said that is your problem as it contains petroleum products and propylene glycol (anti-freeze). He suggested I change to Miracle II soap known to balance the skin’s PH.

He then asked me about my thyroid function, which was not good, then explained about the parathyroid glands and their job of regulating the balance of calcium, magnesium, and potassium. He also said if there was an imbalance, the skin PH would be off causing a person to be prone to sunburn.

I was shocked that my brand of soap I had always used, which was advertised as the most gentle moisturizing soap product, could be related to the skin burning.

I had a large family of outdoorsy kids, and I wasn’t going to be happy staying inside as they enjoyed life outside. I thought I could be the family guinea pig, and experiment with Miracle II soap. Maybe I could save them from experiencing the same thing one day.
