K-1 Bubbling Springs point

Though all the years I’ve applied reflexology wisdom, the K-1 point remains the most steadfast go to point for release of energy flow in 10 of the 12 meridian lines. It simultaneously relaxes as it energizes, balancing the fire and water elements in the physical body while grounding the spirit. It allows the upper body splendid release of built up tension while nourishing internal organs. Since it is the bottom contact point for the feet to the ground, energy is pulled up as the spirit is pulled down to ground.

Do you now, or have you ever struggled with low energy? How about headaches, insomnia, dizziness or stingers? Or maybe its menstrual discomfort, bladder/kidney issues, circulation problems or high blood pressure? What about confusion, stress, anxiety, fear, panic attacks, anger/rage, irritability or just plain agitation? Perhaps it’s impaired vision, nosebleeds, tinnitus, swelling or lack of stamina? The correct stimulation of the K-1 points in the bottoms of the feet are known to positively affect change for all of the above listed conditions as well as hot flashes, night sweats, poor memory, infertility and depression.

I feel it’s only wise to give you instructions for proper stimulation if the K-1 reflex points. On the diagram, you can easily see the location between the second and third metatarsal bones near the balls of the feet. Putting gentle pressure into the point while moving in a circular motion angled toward the toes will correctly stimulate the K-1 bringing balance to the fire and water elements in the body and grounding the spirit through contact with earth’s energy. Proper stimulation allows for the bubbling spring energy to move up the body energizing the legs, hips, torso, arms and coming out between the shoulder and neck. It draws from the source like a tree draws nourishment from the ground bringing in fluid balance. At the same time, the heat of balanced circulation comes down the body, clearing the head, relaxing neck and shoulder areas while moving down the body into the organs with oxygenated blood providing the necessary component for restoration, rejuvenation and homeostasis encouraging deep healing.

I would love to hear your K-1 stimulation stories and experiences! Feel free to email [email protected]. Remember when working on yourself, leverage is important. If you have trouble getting the right leverage with your hands on your feet, using a pencil eraser may be helpful. Be thorough and gentle. There is no need for excessive pressure.
