I had no way to train locally as that was not the days of internet, zoom, or any other instant access. Instead, I went to the bookstore and ordered Mildred Carter’s book on “Body Reflexology Healing at Your Fingertips”. After reading the book I immediately started looking for people to practice on.
There are some brave and wonderful people not to mention courageous, who came to their appointments and told me their results, in which helping me hone my skills! That was it! The fire was lit, and I had to know more.
I went to a bigger bookstore in Denver where they had more selection praying to pick the next right book on the ladder of reflexology wisdom. I put a book in each hand the bought the book in the hand that buzzed with electric energy.
Along with many of the reflexology books by Mildred Carter, here are some good starter books:
1. The Reflexology Manual by Pauline Wills
2. The Reflexology Atlas by Bernard C. Koster MD.
3. Acupressure’s Potent Points by Michael Reed Gach
4. The Encyclopedia of Natural Healing
A great resource to have on hand in any home environment.
It is my recommendation to build a library of your own resources books because you will find yourself enjoying them over and over!
Many Blessings!
