Sinus Headache

Fun fact: If you have fingers and/or toes there is no need to endure sinus issues. I have a very workable solution for you to try yourself or with a willing accomplice. A reflexology technique I find works well is tapping your fingertips on a wooden table for a few seconds. If a table is unavailable, use something else. For example I once had a client call me while driving on a road trip. She asked about reflexology for sinus pain and I said try tapping fingertips on your steering wheel. She reported that it worked well for her as she felt good when she reached her destination. If you have someone to help you, have them roll a pencil between the toes starting from the base, up the side, around the top and down the other side. Then gently squeeze the toes between the nail and the fleshy part of the toe directly behind the nail on all the toes starting with the pinky and working toward the big toe. This should trigger the sinuses to drain. Massage the outside of each foot from the tip of the pinky toe down to the heel and around up the inside of the foot to the big toe getting all the toe tips till you feel the feet relax.

Another trick for sinus draining is opening the spine between the shoulder blades. Once the drainage starts, drink water with a pinch of Redmond’s Real Salt to thin the mucus. Lemon water is also very helpful moving the mucus out of your head and body.

It’s important to know to be gentle. Slowly work the fingers and toes knowing that when they are free of any discomfort, you’ll likely be free of any sinus pain. What a blessing!
